I've never been ice fishing, and I'm guessing Lenny Rudow could do a better job of writing about this video than me (except that he might go on a little too long). But even as a non-fishhead I still really liked watching it. For one thing, the ice clarity is spectacular. Seeing the fish swimming around through the ice makes me want to get out on the ice myself and drill a fishing hole (well, almost).

The other reason I like this video is that the self-proclaimed "Jigheads" do a great job of combining contagious enthusiasm and clear information. We are "right there" with them as they struggle to figure out a solution to an odd problem: How do you get a huge lake trout out through a tiny hole in the ice?

Stay warm, and happy Monday.
